Pilot Training Positions

Ground Instructor

  • Based in Charlotte, NC
  • Hotels and air travel covered
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a flight instructor – simulator and/or airplane
Preferred:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a FAR 121 Dispatcher
  • PSA Dispatcher and adult classroom experience

What Does a Ground Instructor Do?

Ground Instructors provide classroom-based training that prepares pilots for airline operations. They teach regulations, procedures, aircraft systems, and operational concepts while facilitating discussions and knowledge assessments. Ground Instructors also support both initial and recurrent training programs and work closely with training leadership to maintain curriculum standards and support effective flight operations.

SIM Instructor

  • Based in Charlotte, NC
  • Reimbursable Expense Policy for training related events
  • $250/month hotel reimbursement for registered, eligible commuters
Qualifications:
  • Eligible for CL-65 PIC Type Rating
  • Holds Airline Transport Pilot’s License
Preferred:
  • 121 Instructor Experience
  • Previous 121 Check Airman
